There are two silverbirds in my street. They prefer to rest their legs on the top of a car, rather than get into the water. And yet they love staring at the canal surface. I guess they must be kind'of city birds.
I guess I'm kind'of a city person, but at least there is some red Kenyan sand on a green shelve in my cupboard. Please don't blame me for stealing some more of the African resources and bring it to the Netherlands. I plead not guilty. It was brought to me by a friend… The only sand I ever took from there was in my hair. And stardust in my hands!
If you head north of Addis Ababa the horizon starts to become dusty. A bit further and you're walking on the moon, or at least it seems, as if the landscape has fallen down from somewhere in that direction...
