Duffman is gay!

Last Sunday’s episode of the Simpsons, the American cartoon show now on its 20th season, showed Homer Simpson setting up a break-up service to help his clients break up with their partners.

Homer’s former gay roommate, Grady, contacts homer to help him break up with his partner, saying that he has now met someone new.



At that point, Duff Man comes out of the shower and snaps Grady with a towel.

The Simpson’s has thus featured another gay character. Over its history, the show has shown several others, including Smithers, secretary to the evil Mr. Burns, and one of Marge’s sisters, who is a lesbian.

The only time the Simpson’s have run into trouble with the gay community was when Nelson, the show’s bully, used the expression “that’s so gay”, to which several organizations protested because of the association of the word “gay” with negativity.
